DISTVRBED – Shout 2000 (Tears For Fears cover)

Disturbed is an American heavy metal band from Chicago, formed in 1994. The band includes guitarist Dan Donegan, drummer Mike Wengren, lead vocalist David Draiman and bassist John Moyer. Donegan and Wengren have been involved in the band since its inception, with Draiman replacing original lead vocalist Erich Awalt in 1996 and Moyer replacing original bassist Steve “Fuzz” Kmak in 2004.

Disturbed’s debut album, The Sickness, was released in 2000 as a commercial success, mainly due to the singles “Down With the Sickness” and “Stupify”. The band then released the albums Believe (2002), Ten Thousand Fists (2005), Indestructible (2008), and Asylum (2010), all of which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart. Disturbed went into hiatus in October 2011, during which the band’s members focused on various side projects, and released The Lost Children, a compilation album containing previously unreleased songs. They returned in June 2015 and released their sixth album Immortalized that same year. They followed it up with the albums Evolution (2018) and Divisive (2022).

Shout, shout, let it all out These are the things I can do without Come on I’m talking to you, come on Shout, shout, let it all out These are the things I can do without Come on I’m talking to you, come on

In violent times, you shouldn’t have to sell your soul In black and white, they really, really ought to know Those one-track minds that took you for a working boy Kiss them goodbye, you shouldn’t have to jump for joy You shouldn’t have to jump for joy

Shout, shout, let it all out These are the things I can do without Come on I’m talking to you, come on

They gave you life and in return, you gave them hell As cold as ice, I hope we live to tell the tale I hope we live to tell the tale

Shout, shout, let it all out These are the things I can do without Come on I’m talking to you Come on Shout, shout, let it all out These are the things I can do without Come on I’m talking to you Come on

Shout, shout, let it all out (Let it all out) These are the things I can do without Come on I’m talking to you Come on

And when you’ve taken down your guard If I could change your mind I’d really love to break your heart I’d really love to break your heart

Shout, shout, let it all out These are the things I can do without (Break your heart) Come on (Really love to break your heart) I’m talking to you Come on Shout, shout, let it all out These are the things I can do without Come on I’m talking to you So come on

Shout, shout, let it all out These are the things I can do without Come on I’m talking to you Come on (They really, really ought to know) Shout, shout, let it all out (They really, really ought to know) These are the things I can do without (They really, really) Come on I’m talking to you (They really, really ought to know) Come on

Shout, shout, let it all out (I’d really love to break your heart) These are the things I can do without (I’d really love to break your heart) Come on I’m talking to you So come on

Shout, shout, let it all out These are the things I can do without Come on I’m talking to you
