While MSI 2024 is in full swing an LCS team used the down time in the offseason to make a roster move. Dignitas is replacing Lee “Rich” Jae-won as their starting top lane with Eric “Licorice“) Ritchie.

Licorice spent the past years with Golden Guardians as their starting top lane. When Golden Guardians did not return to the LCS in 2024 Licorice went unsigned. He was a first team all-pro LCS last summer which made this quite a shock.

Now he looks to return Dignitas to the worlds stage for the first-time sense 2019 when they played under the name Clutch Gaming. Dignitas finished fifth during the spring split and made it to fifth/sixth place during the spring playoffs. Rich becomes a free agent.
