Defending champs bounced

The last team to win consecutive national championships was Central (1998-2000). That streak just got a year longer after Emory was swept, yes swept, by Trinity (TX) tonight at the Southwestern Regional. It’ll be #2 Southwestern vs. #5 Trinity in the final.

No other major news from these regionals (all finals @ 7 central): #1 UW Oshkosh vs. #6 St. Thomas @ UW Oshkosh #1 Wash U vs. #2 Carthage @ Wash U #1 Hope vs. #2 Ohio Northern @ Hope #1 Juniata vs. #3 Eastern @ Juniata #1 Colorado College vs. #7 La Verne @ Redlands

And the yearly free-for-alls (otherwise known as the finals I was just wrong about): #1 Tufts vs. #3 Williams @ Tufts #3 Salisbury vs. #4 Christopher Newport @ NYU

Live coverage galore tomorrow night. Check ’em out.
