Dead Rising 2: Off The Record.

Just when you thought it was safe to return to the casino’s for a spin on the Roulette wheel, the dead have risen yet again. Dead Rising 2: Off The Record will see the long-awaited return of everyone’s favorite zombie paparazzi, Frank West, set during the events that we witnessed in the previous installment, Dead Rising 2. Off The Record isn’t so much a sequel, more of a companion, and an alternative perspective to the events surrounding fortune city, and Chucks battle to survive and protect his daughter. The return of Frank West will also signify to fans of the original game, that they will once again have the capability to capture all the zombie lunacy on camera, with Franks photography playing a huge part once again.

Frank arrives in Fortune City to promote his book, which accounts his experience with the first outbreak in Willamette shopping mall, but unwittingly gets caught up in the middle of the second outbreak, and being the inquisitive photojournalist that he is, Frank sets out to investigate where this second outbreak originates. Off The Record will also feature a co-op mode which will bring together both protagonists (Frank/Chuck) together to take on the shuffling zombie hordes. Off The Record may not be an original concept, but decapitating a mass of zombies in so many colourful ways is always entertaining, and witnessing more of the same certainly wont be disappointing.

Dead Rising 2: Off The Record, will be released in the Autumn.
