Day 19

We woke up and drove to the toilets. We had a quick sandwich for breakfast before driving to Nelson recreation reserve (which was actually far away!). The walks were a bit disappointing (apart from the old swing bridge) and we played in the playground with the slide and the flying fox before driving. We stopped to see a very old locomotive (only the front) well renovated. Then we visited the Brunner Mine Site, historical for tragic accident. Back to Greymouth, we filled up the car with food and fuel before going to the cottage 20 minutes away.
The cottage wasn’t cheap, but it worth the price! Very pretty, clean, big and cozy. We emptied the whole car, started to do our laundry and putting away our food for our relaxing “weekend”. We crashed, Jack cooked nice food with music, played Wii while I was looking up the new Just dance and catching up on YouTube videos. After having a good shower, I started to create a Facebook album of our trip to save up our pictures. While Jack decided to make a blog about our trip. Bed time was really late but it was great to have a proper bed!
