Con Air (1997)

Director: Simon West

Starring: Nicolas Cage, John Malkovich, John Cusack, Steve Buscemi

Newly paroled ex-con and former U.S. Ranger Cameron Poe finds himself trapped in a prisoner transport plane when the passengers seize control.

Nicolas Cage is in top form in a time when his films were still successful at the box office. This is no exception, as the film grossed $224 million on a $75 million budget.

Interesting and exciting action adventure with destruction and explosions galore. John  Malkkovich is brilliant as antagonist Cyrus the Virus. The final scene is quite exhilarating, actually, when the plane lands on the busy Las Vegas Strip.
