College Gymnastics. Week 14 Reginals

The picture on the right is Grace Taylors Facebook profile picture. All the UGA gymnasts are beyond sad. As someone not a big Georgia fan I actually feel bad for them.

One last thing Georgia might have some help on the way. They have a recruit that won every event at a recent JO Regional. Her name is Kaylan Earls. I haven’t seen her but winning every event at any meet is impressive.

Okay so here we go. UCLA won their Regional against no one. They really had the easiest can’t miss road to Nationals and IMO it is pretty unfair. Anna Li got another 10 on bars with another mistake on another handstand. (the one before her geinger) I guess I can see why she scored a 10 if you take into consideration the less then steller routines that went before her that scored in the 9.9 plus range.

Jadouche has videos of all the UCLA routines and so far I have watched bars and vault. There wasn’t a single deserved score there even for a College meet. People that complain Alabama is overscored on floor should take a look at UCLA’s bar routines.

Brittani McCulloughs vault got a 9.825 for a huge step. Her bar set was even worse and got a 9.800. About the only scores I found in range were their floor routines. (Which I am watching now)

Florida Won the Salt Lake Regional and advanced with Utah

Alabama and NU advanced in the Lexington Regional

OU Won the University Park Regional and advanced with LSU.

Stanford Won the Morgantown Regional and advanced with the University of Michigan.

Missouri Won the Columbia Regional and advanced to Nationals with Oregon State
