Circus Amok Returns!

Here’s news so good I had to share it in my Marxfest talk at Coney Island USA last Sunday…and that is Woman with a Beard Jennifer Miller and Circus Amok, her ground-breaking Brechtian street circus, is returning this summer for a tour of New York City public parks. For some background on what she does, see these several posts:

Her new production The Double, or The Wisdom of the Owl opens this Saturday June 1 in Fort Greene Park, with shows all over the city every weekend, culminating Sunday, June 23 on the Coney Island boardwalk. This is an election year, so her brand of acrobatic agit-prop couldn’t be better timed for my tastes. Can’t wait to see it!
