Burn out

Director: Yann Gozlan

Starring: François Civil, Olivier Rabourdin, Manon Azem

To save his loved ones, Tony must use his motorcycle talents for drug deliveries.

Although the film doesn’t really offer anything new to the drug crime genre, you’re bound to enjoy this if your a bike enthusiast. The biking element was probably the highlight of the film. Just a pity the music wasn’t thumping to propel the film forward. The score did not complement the fast-paced biking scenes as it should have.

François Civil makes a likable hero, Tony. Tony’s only crime was to protect the ones he loves. This is a very uncomplicated plot, and easy to follow. Every single character in this film has a distinct purpose; there are no unnecessary characters, which I enjoyed.

The film has the potential to become tedious with more than one viewing, I think, but for a first time viewing it was rather exciting.

In French.
