Breastfeeding Cat

This is some odd sh*t right here…

The Japanese are crazy! They come up with the strangest shows on TV! If it isn’t those hilarious prank shows or those wacky game shows, it’s the outright insane.  I can’t believe they even showed that.  I have no idea what they were saying, or what that whole thing was all about, so if anyone speaks Nippongo, please feel free to translate.  I swear, that’s one of the freakiest things I’ve ever seen!

Okay, let’s shift from crazy to downright sad:

This obviously upsets me because we have 3 cats and our most malambing cat, Duke, does that kneading thing with the paw.  They say it’s a cat’s ultimate expression of affection.  Mainly because they would do that to their mother’s teats while breastfeeding.  You actually see the breastfeeding cat from the first video doing the same.  And strange to see this video because less than a month ago, right in front of our building, I saw a cat trying to pull it’s dead friend to “safety”, dodging the passing cars.  It was so sad to see, because it was risking its life for a dead comrade.

Okay fine, I couldn’t resist it!

I know, I know, it’s a cheesy segue, but since we’re on the topic of cats, and there’s the big hubbub about Lea Salonga appearing in it, I felt I was duty-bound to post that.  That’s Grizabella, the “Glamour Cat”, the role that Lea Salonga is slated to play.  And of course she’s singing the most popular song in the musical.  That’s the original West End Grizabella, Elaine Paige.  My photo buddies and I are hemming and hawing about watching because the tickets are so expensive!  Because if we’re watching, we might as well get good seats.  So the only choices we have: to watch in expensive seats or not watch at all.  Decisions…decisions…
