Breaking News: New Location for Linda’s Cafe, Lexington Park, St. Marys County, Maryland

I’ve reviewed Linda’s Cafe twice, here and here, with both reports clouded by impending doom. Royal Farms, it seems, purchased the site, and plans to tear down this local landmark and mar Lexington Park with another cookie cutter corporate property. Linda’s has continued to operate under a shadow and offer wonderful food — including the world’s best toast,

I mean the best —

as well as many other treats. Now, I’m trilled to report that Linda’s has announced that they’ve found a new location.

We will be setting up shop at the previously known location of “Days Off Deli” on the corner of MacArthur Boulevard and 235, right across from San Souci Plaza in Lexington Park. We hope the previous owners are thriving in their new ventures!

Linda’s also reports that their new location will also allow them to offer a full bar, and to create a new food truck featuring Greek specialties, including gyros, shawarma, souvlaki, roasted lamb, and more.
