Breaking Bread

It’s easy to feel lost in a lecture hall with 200 other students. Well, Breaking Bread can help you connect more with a professor and stand apart from the long attendance list of names.

The Breaking Bread Program is designed to offer undergraduate students an opportunity to intermingle with faculty outside of the normal classroom setting. Have a meal with a professor, and USC will pick up the tab. This program only runs during the fall and spring semesters and is only open to current USC Faculty.

Though only faculty can apply, students can encourage faculty to do so. Just tell your favorite professor to apply to the program. The online application must be submitted at least seven days prior to the meal event. Your professor can only submit one application, per course, per semester.
