Bolt (2008)

Director: Byron Howard, Chris Williams

The canine star of a fictional sci-fi/action show that believes his powers are real embarks on a cross country trek to save his co-star from a threat he believes is just as real.

Oh, how utterly delightful! This is a film young and old can enjoy!

Apart from the great animation, the film tells a really good story. The underlying theme is friendship and loyalty. This is a cute story of an actor dog believing his movie world is real. When he finally discovers the truth, the film is sort of a coming of age story – of a dog!

There’s lots of action, adventure, suspense, humor and plenty of emotion. The action is fast-paced and the humor is really funny. And Bolt is one of the cutest dogs around! Absolutely adorable! I love this film!

‘Bolt’ was a box office success, earning nearly $310 million on a $150 million budget. It received an Oscar nomination for Best Animated Film of the Year.

Would I watch it again? Yes.
