Black Water (2007)

Director: David Nerlich, Andrew Traucki

Starring: Diana Glenn, Maeve Dermody, Andy Rodoreda

A terrifying tale of survival in the mangrove swamps of Northern Australia

I don’t like crocodiles at the best of times, so the idea of being stranded on a river with crocs lurking about was terrifying. This is a well made, suspenseful low budget feature. The film did loose momentum around the second act, but it was still watchable and foreboding. The film featured some very good, scary crocodile scenes.

The film won awards for Best Cinematography and Best Director (s).
