Barren but Beautiful! A Maine Winter Painting
I was so taken by the rugged beauty of Sandy Point Beach a couple of weeks ago. The day was bright, and the wind was raw, but there was such beauty. I thought it would be a beautiful subject to paint in granulating watercolors. Sometimes, a medium just speaks to you, and you must follow it down the path. Art is best when you don’t fight the flow.

A real-time lesson for this project, along with over 150 other real-time art lessons (2 new ones added every month!) and monthly creative prompts, are waiting for you in Critique Club! The price of Critique Club is increasing to $7.50 for new members in April, but you can lock in the $5 a month price by joining Critique Club before April 1st. Enjoy the time-lapse!
