Babbling Brook “Plein Air” Sketchbook Sunday!

Hi friends! Today we are going to travel to the local Audubon trails and do some painting on location!

My husband and I filmed on location and I hope you enjoy it.

Here is what I typically take out painting (*Affiliate links used)

• Portable painter palette

• Qor Watercolors

• Strathmore windpower watercolor pad *I used the 6″x9″ size but the 11″x15″ is the same price

• *I cut down dome brushes for my travel kit, you can purchase similar short travel brushes if you wish

• Black superfine pitt pen 

• White Gel pen of extra fine posca pen *I am recommending the posca pens as they don’t clog and can be refilled by pulling out the nib and adding thinned acrylic paint in the nib hole with a pipette. *note, this is my hack and not a brand approved recommendation.

• White watercolor crayon
