AVCA Announces D-III All-Region Teams

View other regions here. AVCA All-America Teams to be announced on Tuesday.

EDIT: Now that I’ve had time to really look at the Midwest selections, there’s an interesting omission – the Northern Athletics Conference POY, Concordia Wisconsin MH Katie Roessler. Two Northern AC players are All-Region and one isn’t a player the coaches deemed best? Apparently the AVCA knows more than the coaches or something was missing as far as AVCA nominations and/or AVCA membership. I’ve seen just about everyone in the region at least once this year, and I think Roessler was worthy of All-Region. Too bad either the CUW coach isn’t an AVCA member, Roessler wasn’t nominated or the ACVA thought the coaches were wrong. I beg to differ on the latter.
