AVCA 2021 Week 9 poll: Wartburg (25-0) up to #4

Reigning national champion and unbeaten Johns Hopkins (27-0) is still nearly unanimous atop the AVCA Week 9 poll. The Blue Jays are followed in the poll by No. 2 Trinity (Texas), No. 3 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, No. 4 Wartburg and No. 5 Hope.

Other Region VIII/IX teams in the Week 9 top 25: No. 8 Wisconsin-Whitewater; No. 10 Wisconsin-Eau Claire; No. 15 Northwestern; No. 19 Bethel; No. 20 Chicago; No. T22 Wisconsin-Stevens Point; No. 25 Gustavus Adolphus.

Region VIII/IX teams receiving votes this week: Concordia Wisconsin; Washington-St. Louis; Carthage; Wisconsin-La Crosse.

My Week 9 top 10 had the same teams as the AVCA’s top 10 but in a slightly different order for the second straight poll.
