Artist of the Month: Mike Mayjor(From Villain Empire Ent)

With Hip Hop going through its constant changes on the artistic side and forever changing on the business side, Its so easy to become uninspired with how the culture treats artists and how you have to pretty much dig for new talent and sounds. Ive been doing Off The Cuff Radio since 2014 and Screwball Radio since 2020 and have been exposed to different talent on all genres. When I did a interview with Mike Mayjor years ago, I seen the talent there but I didn’t really know much about his true artisty. Mike was also coming into the game and really trying to find his true niche.

Fast-forward to today and Mike has several dope projects out. The most recent one notably “Hott Boy” which pays homage to the Cash Money sound as well as the group’s movement itself. What also sold me is also the latest single he dropped titled “Bedroom Floor” which cleverly samples the 2001 classic from Shaggy:
