Director: Kim Farrant

Starring: Noomi Rapace, Rebecca Bower, Luke Evans

A woman grieving over the death of her daughter loses grip of reality when she begins to think her girl may still be alive.

This underrated gem of a movie was so much better than expected. The acting from the entire cast is superb, but especially Noomi Rapace as Lizzie, a grieving mother.

The film starts of very mysteriously. From the start, though, there are a few incidents that might be considered too convenient, but the powerful storytelling soon overwhelms you. Despite Lizzie being made out to the the antagonist, we still sympathize with her for the loss of her daughter. Her back story is well set-up to make you believe she is losing grip on reality.

Just when you think you know the story and how it might end, the film pulls the rug out from under your feet and hits you slap bang in the face. I never saw the twist ending coming and its amazing. Wow.

Would I watch it again? Yes.
