André 3000 recently released a new track titled “Moving Day”, a part of his ongoing exploration into experimental, instrumental music. The song features cosmic flute melodies and is accompanied by two additional tracks: a reversed version called “Day Moving” and “Tunnels of Egypt”, an unreleased piece from his Grammy-nominated 2023 album, New Blue Sun. This project continues André’s innovative shift away from traditional rap, focusing instead on introspective and avant-garde compositions.

The track debuted alongside a short film directed by Dexter Navy, which documents the creative process behind New Blue Sun. The album has garnered critical acclaim, with three nominations for the upcoming 2025 Grammys, including Album of the Year and Best Instrumental Composition.
