I have known Lisa Alisa and followed her career since 2004. What makes her art so exceptional, is that she sees the world differently than most of us. Lisa is a force in the art world and this is a fact; no matter what she does, she does it with flare, excellence and perfection. In her work, she addresses global human and environmental issues, explores stereotypes and human perception, and has a technically brilliant and unique approach to portraying  beauty in its every form. Her work is heavily influenced by Japanese traditional art as well as pop culture of Tokyo contemporary living, but she cites the nature her first and most significant inspiration. Lisa has over 70 shows under the belt and her works appear in a vast scope of exhibitions in the US and around the world. She now divides her time between New York, Tokyo, Moscow and Berlin, taking inspiration from these most diverse and vibrant cities.
