Allan Otte

At the moment I’m so lucky to be designing a book, for a very special exhibition, that I’m afraid I can’t say much about yet. But one of the pieces is by Danish artist Allan Otte and I’ve taken an instant liking to his work. He paints mostly landscapes, but they are not pretty and idyllic, they are always a juxtaposition between nature and the influence of man. His technique is also quite intriguing, there is a great mix of blurring and textures which makes his paintings almost dizzying to look at. I’m completely in love with the one with the containership. It’s just so absurd! I Love it!
