My Top 10 favourite Hugh Jackman Trivia:

1. He is a foot taller than the Wolverine in Marvel comic books.

2. Before going into acting he was a PhysEd teacher. But what he really wanted to be was a journalist.

3. He sang “Quiet Please, There’s a Lady On Stage” at Joan Rivers’ funeral.

4. He credits Russell Crowe for his sudden burst of fame in 2001. Crowe turned down the role of Wolverine in and recommended his good friend and fellow Aussie for the role.

5. He and his wife have two adopted children after they suffered two miscarriages. They both say the latter was the most difficult time in their lives. Maybe that seems odd to be a “favourite” bit of trivia, but it’s one I can relate with.

6. He once accidentally broke an extra’s hand. It was during the filming of (2004)

7. He once went to a Comic Con in his full Wolverine costume and ! One attender even said to him, “Too tall buddy.”

8. In 2001 he hosted , a show he had never seen. Ever! He was sent tapes beforehand to help him get familiar with the format.

9. If you’re in NYC and wanting a coffee, look for one of the “Laughing Man Coffee” cafes. Jackman started and owns them and sends the proceeds to needy children.

10. His inspiration to go into acting: He wanted to play Jason in a movie.

Congratulations . This is your week.
