I fell in love with the font Akimoto while flipping through an old edition of ESPN, which is one of my fave mags (for the design, I am a sports illiterate!). The font is designed by one of my countrymen, Finnish Ossi Gustafsson and I just love the massive contrast between thick and thin. It’s great for big massive headlines. Akimoto really is a fantastic fat ass font!
