Additional May Deals at Costco
As mentioned in my recent post about food deals at Costco in May (Costco Food Deals for May 2024), people seem to like the timely posts (especially during this drought in product reviews as I have not found too many new appealing products to try). Therefore, when I saw this article that contains both edible and non edible sale items for May, I decided to share it as well. Some products are repeats.
14 May Deals at Costco
1. Nutribullet Ultra Deluxe Single-Serve Blender ($30 off)
The article highlights this blender, which is sold with a 24-ounce handled travel cup, two 32-ounce cups, a 24-ounce cup, three flip top lids, four stainless steel straws, and a straw cleaning brush. Apparently, it also has increased wattage and more durable blades than does the original version.
Although I love frappes and smoothies, I don’t do much blending (Costco Deals for April). However , for those who do blend a lot, this kit seems like a good purchase.
2. Ninja DualBrew XL Grounds & Pods Hot & Iced Coffee Maker ($40 off)
Another kitchen appliance on sale this month is this coffee maker that uses either grounds or coffee pods. According to the article, it can brew in three styles: classic, rich, and over ice. It contains a warming plate, an adjustable fold-away cup platform, and a 70-ounce removable water reservoir.
I don’t drink coffee (Costco Foods You Missed: At Least You Know About Them Now); (Brunch by Costco: 25 menu suggestions) so I have no need for this. However, for coffee drinkers, it sounds like a good option.
3. Dunkin’ & Peet’s K-Cup Pods ($7 off)
Members looking for coffee discounts can buy these pods that come in packs of 72 (Dunkin’) or 75 (Peet’s).
Again, I don’t drink coffee but I know that pods are very convenient for people.
4. Snapware Pyrex 18-Piece Glass Food Storage Set ($5 off)
The article suggests this storage set that includes nine Pyrex tempered glass containers with lids (two small round, two small rectangular, two medium square, two medium round, and one large rectangular container). These containers are airtight and leak-proof, safe for the refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, and oven.
I don’t need more storage containers and generally use plastic. However, this set sounds versatile with a range of sizes and the ability to tolerate cold and heat.
5. Maison Perrier Sparkling Water ($5.50 off)
Another deal for May is on these 24 bottles of unflavored sparkling water.
I mentioned that I don’t like sparkling water but that I want to try it (Costco Food Deals for May 2024). However, if I do decide to try it, I am more likely to try it with flavors.
6. Spindrift Sparkling Water ($5 off)
Another option for a sale on sparkling water is on water that is flavored with lime, lemon, or grapefruit. They are sold in packs of 30 12-ounce cans and contain sparkling water and fruit juice.
I already wrote about these (Costco Food Deals for May 2024). However, seeing that it has some fruit juice, I wonder if maybe it is more like a fruit spritzer with more fruit taste than regular flavored seltzer? If so, I want to try it.
7. Gatorade ($3.60 off)
Another beverage option sale in May is Gatorade. It is being sold in a 24-bottle variety pack (Glacier Freeze, Glacier Cherry, and Arctic Blitz Gatorade.)
I have never really liked Gatorade. I associate it with sports (especially track) and not liking it but viewing it as helping me run faster. I actually don’t tend to drink much beyond water or some juice. However, because it also contains electrolytes, when I need a quick dose of sugar, it is probably good to have.
8. Crazy Cuizine Mandarin Orange Chicken ($4.70 off)
Another sale item is this frozen chicken. It consists of battered chicken breast with rib meat and a Mandarin orange sauce. The article suggests cooking it in the oven or air fryer.
This is not kosher so I will not buy it. However, I know many people like to have frozen chicken meals available for quick dinners.
9. Amylu Caramelized Onion & White Cheddar Chicken Burgers ($4 off)
Another frozen entree on sale this month is Amylu’s Caramelized Onion & White Cheddar Chicken Burgers. They are fully cooked and sold in boxes of eight.
Same as above.
10. Kind Nut Bars ($6.20 off)
The article mentions the sale on these bars. They are sold in packs of 22 bars in a variety of flavors (Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt; Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate; Caramel Almond & Sea Salt bars.)
I have reviewed these bars in the past, albeit some different flavors (Product Review x2: KIND bars (Dark Chocolate, Nuts, & Sea Salt and Salted caramel and dark chocolate almond)).
11. Chobani Flip Greek Yogurt ($4.50 off)
Another edible sale item this month is these yogurts that contain two compartments, one for yogurt and one for toppings. They are sold in packs of 16 in a variety of flavors (S’more S’mores, Strawberry Cheesecake, Cookies & Cream, and Cookie Dough.)
I love yogurt. However, these little yogurts are too small. In addition, I prefer really plain yogurt (Product Review: Kirkland Organic Greek Yogurt) with fruit or granola (Product Review: Kirkland Ancient Grains granola). I think the assortment of toppings would be appealing to kids.
12. GoGo SqueeZ Applesauce ($5 off)
Members can save money this month on applesauce. They are sold in a variety pack of 28 pouches in four flavors (Apple Apple, Apple Peach, Apple Cinnamon, and Apple Strawberry.)
I wouldn’t buy these because the packaging bothers me (Costco Deals for April); (It’s snacktime! (Part 1 of 3))) and because I only like unsweetened plain applesauce. However, these are very convenient and I know but kids tend to like these a lot.
13. Snack Factory Pretzel Crisps ($3.80 off)
Another snack option on sale this month are these pretzels.
I don’t love pretzels as a plain snack because I don’t like bready snacks that are not sweet. However, recently I have liked pretzels with hummus. I have never tried this brand and usually get unsalted pretzels but these may be worth a try.
14. Cheez-It ($3 off)
The final item mentioned is another snack, Cheez-Its, which are sold in 24-ounce boxes, each containing two bags.
I wrote about these in the other list (Costco Food Deals for May 2024).
Will you be buying any of these items on sale this month?
