About time to give some credit to the Ladies Olympic Figure Skating champion, Anna Shcherbakova

Trusova’s temper tantrum and Kamila’s PED tests got all the attention last night yet it was, Anna Shcherbakova who came out on top winning gold with, IMO, the best performance of the night. And watching her have to sit there, alone, being treated like a criminal, instead of celebrating the gold medal she deserved was sickening.

I liken her to, Shang Chunsong. In 2000 one of the Chinese gymnasts was underage and every year after that the US went on a campaign led by its Olympic “Champions” in name, not in spirit, ( I’m looking at you Nastia, Alicia, Sam Peszek, and Aly Raisman) to taint every competition here on out as the Chinese being cheaters and it was unfair. No one bared the brunt of that more than Shang Chunsong. (Judges and fans being the worst berates) So unless, Anna Shcherbakova, is found to have taken something, I thought she actually deservess to be celebrated for dealing with the pressure she has been put under the last few months. (They even asked her at a press conference why she deserved to be an Olympian and those were Foreign/Russian reporters) and going out there and proving everyone wrong.

So here is to you, Anna Shcherbakova. Congratulations on your win. You earned it. You deserved it and I will give you credit for it, until it’s proven wrong.
