If you are hosting Easter at your house this year and will have lots of young children around or just want to keep a kid entertained try this fun craft. I used to teach a toddler art class and this project was always a hit, I am making this craft with my daughters’ pre-K class on Monday. This is suitable for ages 2 and up. Here’s what I did:

step 1. Gather your supplies: washable markers, a spray bottle of water, white basket style coffee filters and pipe cleaners (aka chenille stems).

step2. Use the markers to color 2 coffee filters.

step 3. Spray with water until the colors blend.

step 4. Bend a pipe cleaner in half and twist. Pinch the coffee filters together at the middle and put in the twisted pipe cleaner.

Step 5. Twist the pipe cleaner again and bend the ends to look like antenna.

And look what my friend Olena made with my Chick and Egg stamp! How pretty, thanks Olena!
