Have you been following the story of the missing Malaysian Airline Flight #370? Let me give you a timeline of the events for those who have not been following the daily headlines on this story.

  • Saturday, March 8 – Malaysia Airlines Flight #370 takes off at 12:21am from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia carrying 227 passengers and 12 crew members. It was scheduled to arrive in Beijing, China around 6:30am, but instead it went missing 2 hours later. There was no panic call and no bad weather. It is just gone from all radars and any other detection. The search began immediately as fears of engine failure or terrorism or disintegration or hijacking or pilot suicide began to circulate. An oil slick in the ocean was found but authorities decided it was from passing tankers and not an airplane.

  • Sunday, March 9 – The search continues. Reports of stolen passports on the plane began to circulate.

  • Monday, March 10 – The MCAA (Malaysian Civil Aviation Authority) begins to use the phrase “unprecedented aviation mystery” as a description of the continual search and investigation. China and the U.S.A. use their satellites to search for wreckage but have no luck.

  • Wednesday, March 12 – Still no plane or evidence of the plane has been found. 3 large objects are located in the South China Sea.

  • Thursday, March 13 – Investigators believe the plan flew for 4 hours after they lost contact with aviation authorities. The search continues.

It vanished or it seemed to have vanished. It is such a strange occurrence and one I haven’t seen in my lifetime. It actually gives me weird vibes about the TV show being played out in real life.

Until we find out where and what happened, all of us are left to speculate what happened to this plan. The world’s best explanations are earthly.

Transition … Can you imagine the explanations that are going to come from our governments and media when the Rapture happens? How are they going to explain countless thousands or millions of people just vanishing? How will they explain missing passengers and pilots on airplanes? How will they explain car crashed with no drivers? How will they explain all of this? It should be interested to witness for those “left behind.”

But friends, you don’t want to be around for the media insanity and the crazy speculations. Instead, you want to get ready for the event. Don’t procrastinate giving your life to Christ. I can guarantee you that most of those people that boarded that Malaysian flight had no idea their lives were about to be changed for eternity (assuming they are deceased of course).

Paul wrote, “” (I Thess 5:1-11).

Get your life right today! It could end tomorrow!
