A Helpful Series on the Apostle’s Creed

The Thursday feature of the Worldly Saints blog will be sharing of a media clip (audio or video) that has either educated, equipped, provoked or entertained us in some way.

Currently, at The Village Church, in the Dallas area, Matt Chandler (the Lead Pastor) is preaching a series on the Apostle’s Creed. That may give you pause and you might ask, “He’s preaching a creed and not Scripture?” Well, yes and no. He is using the Creed as a major reference point, but in his series he is going line-by-line and then expositing Scripture.

He is not elevating the Creed to the level of Scripture’s sufficiency but showing how these creeds are based on Scripture.

If you are interested in hearing the introduction to the series and have about 40 minutes, I encourage you to listen to Part 1.
