On this, the morning after the passage of legislation that may well end the nation founded 249 years ago today, I definitely have some better warranted remarks waiting in the wings. But I am also trying to keep my sanity by doing my job, for it gives me great pleasure, and I’ve begun to realize that it may do some service in reminding people about the positives from time to time. So that we can continue, ya know?

And no one ever put a more positive spin on this holiday than one of my show biz heroes, George M. Cohan. I know I grumble about Broadway from time to time, but that’s only when I forget how much I LOVE what I really love about it. And what I love about it is embodied by Cohan. By now, I have amassed enough posts related to him that it warrants this new finding aid, so here ye go. Just follow the links for the articles.
