A Conventional Spring!

Apr 2, 2023

March has seen the most timely and voluminous precipitation that we could have wished for – making up the shortfall in February and topping up to Field Capacity in readiness for the water hungry blossoming period ahead. In all we have measured 114mm here during March! A little inconvenient on the surface just now but an inconvenience worth bearing.

Temperature wise, still no notable unseasonably warm days to concern us. By mid April untoward lower early morning temperatures will be endured nervously.

Bumble Bees are flying in numbers now, especially during this last week.

A time for optimism. If all proceeds conventionally we will have an orchard in full bloom in just five weeks from today.
