Below are links, where available, to Central/Midwest team events this weekend with competing teams and highlighted results. I’m also tracking top 25 upsets nationally.

The Standout Stats and Last Team Standing pages were also updated through Friday. Some interesting happenings there. Yesterday an All-American had 61 assists, someone scooped 46 digs and an honorable mention All-Central outside had 25 kills in four sets. Also, remember when there were 32 undefeated teams at the beginning of the week? Yeah, there were 13 after Friday and 10 of them play today.

Speaking of the Standout Stats page, huzzah and a job well done by everyone involved in keeping and posting stats at this weekend’s tourneys – from the players with the clipboards, to the coaches and to the SID staffs. I don’t think I’ve had a smoother post in the past five years than the one I did Friday. Holes remain, but I’m thankful.
