5th Jan: Filming (pt. 2)

Once we had made the most of the daylight at the beach, we headed to the second set, my house, to film the scenes taking place in the bedroom. On set, I prepared the props required: full body mirror, ‘dressing table’, makeup & wipes. To improve lighting  I used an inexpensive ‘studio’ light purchased from Amazon beforehand.

In terms of camerawork, I took the intended personal shots consisting of prominently mid/head and shoulder/ medium close-up shots. I directed Jess to perform the song’s lyrics emotively and thoughtfully. Overall, the filming went to plan without any issues.
