38 Years ago today the US was cheated out of a Gold medal

This non gold medal didn’t happen in gymnastics or figure skating it happened in basketball but it was still a blatant raping of the United States of America. I usually hate that saying but in this case it fits.

If you think the skating and gym rules are royally screwed in the head you should read the wikipedia page about what happened at the 1972 Olympics. It boggles the mind the blatant cheating that went on by a whole group of incompetent commies. I have lost any little respect I have for the Soviet Union and the way they did things. I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t be able to except a Gold medal I know I chetaed to get. I guess I have more respect for myself then the 1972 Russian “Olympic” team or Tatiana Gutsu.
