30 Days to Better Watercolor is Here!!!

Hi friends! I am so excited! I just put the final touches on my new class 30 Days to Better Watercolor and as always I am launching it to my blog peeps at 50% off. Click any of the class links in the blog post to get the discounted price.

I made this class because you asked me to. A few months ago I created the 30 Days to Better Painting Class which featured 30 alla prima paintings that you could do in oils, gouache, or acrylics. It has been so rewarding to see my students grow and improve during the month of daily painting. The piece of feedback I kept getting was “Will you make one for watercolor next?” Well, how could I say no? I love watercolor, it is my favorite medium and it is the simplest medium to get started in. All of the lessons in 30 Days to Better Painting are in traditional watercolor using simple materials.

Simple doesn’t always mean easy so I wanted to make a collection of 30 painting lessons that can be done as your schedule allows. We will be painting on 5″x7″ watercolor greeting cards but you can use a sketchbook if you prefer.

You can do the classes in order or jump around to lessons that fit in your day. The classes range from 10-40 minutes so you can fit one in given the amount of time you have.

I kept your budget in mind and recommend inexpensive yet good-quality supplies: Meleing “pretty excellent” watercolors, Artegria brushes, and Strathmore watercolor greeting cards as a surface. Keep in mind that if you have already painted in watercolor, you probably have everything you need, and as I always say, “Use what you have!” I also have a color substitution list for the 9 colors we will use during the course. You will be mixing colors like a pro by the end of the 30 days!

I invite you to come as you are and paint with me in 30 Days to Better Watercolor! Enroll today to save 50% during this launch promotion. I can’t wait to paint with you!
