Weekly power rankings for the 2025 UFL season. What did week seven bring to the table as far as who moves up and who moves down in the rankings.

8. San Antonio

They continue to take up the number eight spot. A loss this week has them in a three-game losing streak. It also officially eliminated them from playoff contention.

7. Memphis

They are also one 1-6 after a loss this week. Memphis was also eliminated from playoff contention after this weeks loss.

6. Arlington

They aren’t eliminated from playoff contention yet. However, they do have a three-game losing streak that sees them at a pretty low ranking this week.

5. Houston

A 3-4 record after a loss this week isn’t great. However, they don’t have the losing streak Arlington does, so they get the higher spot in the power rankings.

4.DC

The 5-2 record has them in a four-way tie for the best record. However, I dropped them down in the rankings because San Antonio isn’t an impressive win. Though they did eliminate a team from playoff contention so that’s something.

3.Michigan

This was tough to decide. I could see Michigan at number two, or number three. They are 5-2 and defeated a decent opponent in Arlington this week. However, it was only by a point. A closer game against a lower ranked opponent puts you in the lower spot in the power rankings.

2. Birmingham

I could see them at number two, or number three. I gave them a bit of a boost sense I rated Houston higher than Arlington in the rankings and Birmingham defeated Houston this week.

  1. St. Louis

They have the best winning streak in the league at three games. Now granted they did beat Memphis which isn’t a great win they did have the largest margin of victory.

Tough calls this week as it could have gone a lot of different ways with the top four spots. Maybe week eight will give us some separation and one of these teams will move ahead of the pack. Tune in and find out.
