2025 UFL Week Five Power Rankings
S. Samek
The 2025 UFL season has reached the halfway point. Let’s see where each team ranks in this weeks midseason power rankings.
8.San Antonio
A loss sits them at a record of 1-4, which is tied for the worst in the UFL. They also had the largest margin of defeat this week as they lost by 24 to Houston.
7.Memphis
They won their first game of the year this past week. It was a quality win over first place in the USFL Conference Birmingham. However, they are still tied with San Antonio for the worst record in the UFL. Yet sense they won their past game they are ahead of San Antonio.
6. Houston
They defeated San Antonio by 24 this week, which was the highest margin of victory. However, they did only defeat the lowest ranked team so they lose out a little on strength of schedule. They do have a better record than Memphis and San Antonio, but they are behind four other teams that all have 3-2 records, while Houston is 2-3.
5.Birmingham
This loss hurts as they lost to a prior winless Memphis. While they do remain in first in the division it’s still a tie with Michigan. Yet with it being a bad quality loss for Birmingham this week I have to give them a low power ranking compared to the other 3-2 teams.
4.Michigan
They lost this week to St. Louis, which isn’t the worst quality loss out there, even just this week. However, it feels like a winnable game slipped away and stopped them from leading the division and possibly even the power rankings.
3.Arlington
This one feels like a lost opportunity for Arlington. If they would have beat DC, they would be 4-1 and in first place in the division with a quality win. They would probably be the top ranking in the power rankings too. Yet they lost and couldn’t quite make the jump to the top spot.
2. St. Louis
The lone team with a 3-2 record to win this week. That gives them the boost over the other 3-2 teams in my book.
1.DC
A quality win over Arlington has them as the only 4-1 team in the league. They have the best overall record which puts them at the top of the power rankings once again after losing the top spot during the week four rankings.
