The 2025 PBA Tour capped off the season with a trip to Sweden for the 2025 Storm Lucky Larsen Masters. The event took place from August 22-31st, 2025.
After all rounds of qualifying 55 bowlers advanced to the final day of the event on Sunday the 31st. Then after two more rounds the field was cut to 16 for match play.
Ryan Barns earned the top seed heading into match play. However, he was defeated by the 16th seed Alec Keplinger in the opening round of match play.
Second seed Ethan Fiore defeated 15th seed Nora Johansson in the opening round. Joachim Karlsson, Sean Rash, Raymond Teece, Andrew Anderson, Juho Rissanen and Nate Purches also won during the round of 16 to advance.
Purches defeated Keplinger, Rissanen defeated Fiore, Anderson defeated Karlsson and rash defeated Teece in the round of eight. This then advanced them to the TV semifinals, which were single game instead of match play.
Rash vs Purches was the first match. It came down to the final frame as strikes in the ninth and 10th frame from Rash, forced Purches to mark to win. However, an unsuccessful conversion on a 3-6-9-10 doomed Purches to a 174-166 loss to Rash.
Rissanen would defeat Anderson 213-189 to advance to the championship.
The championship game would also go down to the final frame. Rash put himself in position to win with a mark in the 10th frame. He stepped up and threw the final three strikes to claim the title by a 221-191 score. The win was the 18th title for Rash, but first title sense 2021.
2024 champion Jesper Svensson finished in 78th place, failing to reach the cut line for Sunday.
