2025 Prospect League Baseball Divisional Championship Games

Tonight is the start of the 2025 Prospect League baseball playoffs. The first half winner of each division plays the second half winner in a one game playoff to advance to the conference championship game. Here are the matchups for this round of the playoffs.

Northeast Division

The Johnstown Mill Rats won the first half. The Lafayette Aviators won the second half. The Aviators had a better overall record at 35-21 with Johnstown finishing 26-29 overall.

Central Division

Rex baseball won the first and second half championships in the Central Division. The Normal CornBelters finished second during both halves and earned the second playoff spot.

Northwest Division

The Clinton LumberKings won the first half title. The Burlington Bees won the second half. Clinton finished with a better overall record. However, the Bees enter the playoffs on an eight-game winning streak. Could they be heating up at the right time for a stretch run?

South Division

The Cape Catfish won the first half. The O’ Fallon Hoots won the second half with an impressive 26-4 record. The Hoots finished with an overall record of 41-15 which is the best record in the Prospect League.
