The Pioneer League is getting set to start the championship series for this season. Let’s break down the series and make a prediction for who we think will take home the title. The championship series is best of five.

The Oakland Ballers will play the Idaho Falls Chukars for the Pioneer League championship. The Ballers won their deciding game 1-0 over the Ogden Raptors to clinch a spot in the championship series for the first time in franchise history.

Idaho Falls took a bit of a different approach to reach the finals. They surrendered 16 runs in a game two loss to force game three. However, in game three they broke out for 22 runs in a 22-6 win over Missoula to clinch their spot in the championship series.
