2025 Pioneer League Baseball Semifinals

The top four teams in the Pioneer League are ready to battle it out in the playoffs.

The first semifinal series is between the Ogden Raptors and Oakland Ballers. Oakland won both halves of the season and will host the series. The Ballers finished with the league’s top record as well at 73-23. Is Ogden up to the task to try and upset the Ballers?

My prediction is Oakland wins the series.

The second semifinal is between the Idaho Falls Chukars and the Missoula Paddleheads. Missoula won the division in both halves of the season and will host the playoff round. They finished 9.5 games ahead of Idaho Falls in the standings, but nine games behind Oakland for the top seed. Is Idaho Falls up to the challenge of trying to beat the team that finished ahead of them in the standings?

My prediction is Missoula wins the series.
