S. Samek
Seems like we just got an update for the 2025 PBA Elite League Battle of the Brands standings. Yet with the PBA World Championship concluding, the standings were once again changed. What teams made moves up the ranks and which teams fell? Let’s find out.
Team Motiv continues to lead the field. They got 7,500 points from EJ Tackett’s title win to help keep them in front of the standings heading into the USBC Masters this week.
Team Storm remained in second. Jason Belmonte earned 4,500 points for a runner-up finish. Storm also placed three other bowlers in the top seven to earn a good number of points.
Team Brunswick climbed to third place from fourth during this event. Tim Foy Jr. finished third and earned his team 3,450 points to lead the way.
900 Global swapped places with Brunswick finishing in fourth after being in third heading into the PBA World Championship. Andrew Anderson finished ninth and was their highest finisher.
Team Hammer stayed pat in fifth place. Boog Krol finished fourth in the PBA World Championships which was Team Hammers best effort.
Team Roto Grip stayed in sixth place this update.
Team DV8 climbed out of the basement and now sits in seventh place in the PBA Elite League standings. Matt Ogle finished eighth to help them move up the standings.
Team Ebonite fell to last place.
With four of eight teams moving up or down the standings the PBA World Championship did a little bit to shake up the standings. It didn’t however give us a new leader as Team Motiv continues to keep their lead.
Plus, with Tackett in prime form you know he’s going to pick up points and keep his team in front.
Check in after the USBC Masters this week to see which teams made moves in the standings and which didn’t.
