2025 MSI Round Two

After an exciting round one of matches, MSI 2025 moves on to round two. Four teams are left undefeated while four drop into the losers’ bracket one loss away from being eliminated. Let’s look at the matchups for this round and make predictions for the winners.

Round Two Upper Bracket

Gen.Gvs Anyone’s Legend

It’s LCK champion vs LPL champion. Could this be a preview of a possible MSI finals? It very well could be. My prediction is this one goes the full five games with Gen.G winning 3-2.

Bilibili Gaming vs T1

We get a rematch of the 2024 League of Legends Worlds championship here at MSI. Bilibili Gaming looked good in their opening series and has won 9 out of 10 games they have played at MSI. T1 survived a scare against CFO Flying Oyster in their opening match. Could this lead to Bilibili Gaming finally winning over t1? I’m predicting no with a T1 3-2 win.

Round One losers’ bracket

G2 vs FlyQuest

It’s an LEC vs LTA North matchup with the loser going home. Wil this series be worthy of the regional rivalry? I can’t wait to see. My prediction is 3-1 FlyQuest winning the series.

Movistar KOI vs CFO Flying Oyster

Movistar KOI looked outmatched against Bilibili Gaming in their opening series. Yet they didn’t get swept by them. CFO Flying Oyster gave T1 a run for their money in their opening series, before falling in five games. I think we get another close series with Movistar KOI advancing 3-2.

G2 vs FlyQuest and Gen.G vs Anyone’s Legend will take place on Friday July 4th, 2025. T1 vs Bilibili and Movistar KOI vs CFO Flying Oyster will take place on Saturday July 5th, 2025.
