2025 MLW Slate Three Series Two

S. Samek

The MLW season is moving right along. It’s the second series of slate three this week. After the first series sweep of the 2025 season what will this week have in store?

This week is a matchup between the Coastal Cobras and Great Lakes Gators. The Cobras are 2-4 and were selected as the eighth best team in the managers poll for the slate. The Gators are 3-3 and ranked as the sixth best team in the poll. This was the biggest drop in this edition of the poll as they fell four spots from second to sixth.

This is a pretty critical series for both teams. The Cobras look to stay in the playoff hunt being only a game back of four teams despite being in last place. The Gators look to establish themselves as more serious contenders and get out of the middle of the pack of teams at 3-3. With the new MLW no divisions format it’s series like these that can make or break a season.

In this series I’m predicting the Gators win 2-1. Be sure to tune in to see who wins the series and vote for your pick below.
