2025 MLW Slate Three Series One

Slate two of the 2025 MLW season is in the books. Through eight series of play no team has been swept, which is an MLW record. Could we see that change this week?

The first matchup of slate three is the Western Wildcats and Eastern Eagles. The Eagles are off to a rough start with a 2-4 record. Meanwhile the Wildcats seemed to have turned it around with two series wins and a 4-2 record. This puts them just one win shy of matching last year’s total at 5-10.

I’m not thinking that we see a sweep. Even with the Eagles slumping a bit I think they at least get one win. However, I am going to predict the Wildcats win the series 2-1.
