It’s the final series of slate one of the 2025 MLW season. This week’s matchup features the 2024 American League champion Pacific Predators against the Metro Magic.

Last year the two teams met in the MLW Chicago series with the Predators taking game one 6-0. The Magic then got the bats going in game two holding off a late rally to win 7-4. Game three went to extra innings. A hit then cleared the bases allowing the Magic to pull ahead 3-0. They then held onto the shutout despite allowing the Predators to load the bases in the bottom half of the inning to win the series 2-1.

My prediction for the series is Predators win 2-1.
