2025 MLW Slate Four Series One

After the two-week all-star break MLW is back to regular season action. Quite a bit to unpack on the discussion of this weeks series.

The series is between the Coastal Cobras and Metro Magic. It’s also another Summer of Stadiums tour with the games being played at Cal Senior’s Yard in Aberdeen, Maryland.

The Cobras have struggled mightily this season and are in last place with a 2-7 record. They are trying to keep their playoff chances alive during this series. If they get swept, they could become the first team to be eliminated from playoff contention this season. Even losing the series 2-1 hurts their playoff chances, as they would only be able to finish with a maximum of six wins.

Though if the Cobras can sweep the series, they would tie the Magic and hold the head-to-head tiebreaker over them which could possibly send them to the playoffs instead of the Magic.

The Magic are 5-4 and in fourth place right now. A series win sets them up nicely for a playoff spot while a sweep could clinch them the first spot in the playoffs this season.

It’s a lot to play for as slate four kicks off. I’m predicting the Magic take the series 2-1. Be sure to check out this weeks video for all the action.
