2025 LTA North Split Three Week Seven

This week we conclude the elimination phase and see which three teams advance to the regional championship from the LTA North division.

Cloud9 faces 100 Thieves to start the week in round three of the lower bracket. Cloud9 survived a best of five series against Disguised in round two winning 3-2. 100 Thieves swept Team Liquid 3-0 to stay alive in the lower bracket. The winner of this series will place in the top three and receive a spot in the regional championships.

I’m predicting Cloud9 wins the series 3-1 and ends the lower bracket run of 100 Thieves, ending their last ride in the LTA North short of a worlds spot.

Awaiting the winner of that series is Shopify Rebellion. They were defeated by FlyQuest 3-1 in the upper bracket round four this past week. If they play Cloud9 it would be a rematch of the upper bracket round two, that Shopify Rebellion won 3-2. If that match is the case, I predict Cloud9 actually gets through this time winning 3-2. The winner of this match then plays FlyQuest in the finals.

Shopify Rebellion is already in the regional playoffs, as they can finish no worse than third.

I’m predicting FlyQuest vs Cloud9 as the finals. Then in this matchup of the top two teams FlyQuest wins 3-1. I would call FlyQuest the favorite no matter who they face in the finals, whether it’s Cloud9, Shopify Rebellion, or 100 Thieves.

FlyQuest is already qualified for regional playoffs but should be looking to finish as the number one seed with a playoff win and earn a first-round bye in regional playoffs.
