2025 First Stand Semifinals and Finals

The 2025 First Stand Group Stage has concluded. Now we move on to the Knockout stage. This includes four of the five teams from the group stage.

Hanwha Life Esports is the top seed for the knockout stage. They finished with a 4-0 match record and 8-2 game record to finish in first place in the group.

They will play Top Esports in the semifinals. Top Esports is the fourth seed after finishing 1-3, 2-6.

On the other side of the bracket is second seed CTBC Flying Oyster. They finished 3-1, 6-2. The team many thought to finish fifth at the event look to defy the odds and make it to the title match.

They will play third seed Karmine Corp. Karmine Corp finished 1-3, 4-6.

Team Liquid finished fifth at 1-3, 3-7 and lost out on tiebreakers to become the lone team to not make the bracket stage.

I’m predicting Hanwha Life Esports over Top Esports and CTBC Flying Oyster over Karmine Corp in the semifinals.

I’m then predicting Hanwha Life Esports over CTBC Flying Oyster in the finals.

Note for the semifinals and finals it’s a best of five series and single elimination. The semifinals take place on Saturday March 15th, 2025. While the finals take place on Sunday March 16th, 2025. Which team will make League of Legends history by winning the first ever First Stand title?
